  • Pet Zebra & Pk Delay - Fall Sixteen

    Posted by Alex Young

Artists Joel Kellem and Pk Delay steadily produce a creative output. Whether it is their quintessential wearable merch or music, the two offer styles to enjoy.

Even how they go about things is interesting, offering pears at parties or Kellem's exotic rap name, Pet Zebra. Everything adds up to cool songs. Especially in their latest project, "Fall Sixteen." The music is confident and speaks to their day-to-day. "We all gon' die one day so fuck the risks," Delay says in "Nephs." Find pleasant tones in the track "Canvas."

Importantly, sample Pet Zebra and PK Delay's "Fall Sixteen" below and discover more of their work here and here.

  • Wet Boyz - "We're the WET BOYZ, and You're Watching Disney Channel"

    Posted by Alex Young

Wet Jenny and Wet Shorts are wet "like tsunamis." The couple dubbed "WET BOYZ" make water ripples courtesy of the splash from their new, fun mixtape.

Officially, "We're the WET BOYZ, and You're Watching Disney Channel" provides titillating melody and words through upbeat tones.

Musical artists Dillis and Patches are responsible for the project with nostalgic and sexy references, like the retro cover art and making girls "sing" or "wet."

Though the duo's work speaks to many playful things, the song "COPS ARE SOOO DRY" discusses how aggressive police are such a turn-off.

Listen to Wet Jenny and Wet Shorts' musical effort below and explore more of the two's work here and here.

Jordan Beckham, via Jordan Beckham Studio, is effective as a visual artist for his thorough documentation of Pittsburgh's hip-hop community. Having worked on more than 110 album/mixtape releases for a local and national musical cast, Beckham has created a trusted platform to showcase popular and undiscovered talent.

His recent project, "REAL EMCEES ONLY," looks to feature true bars from real rappers with the spotlight solely on the people and their lyrics. With 12 episodes behind him, Beckham showcases a good representation of Pittsburgh's hip-hop scene thanks to appearances from the likes of Boaz, Hardo, Joel Kellem, and now Mars Jackson.

Mars steps in front of Beckham's camera after just being named the "Best Local Hip-Hop Performer" by Pittsburgh City Paper, and pushing his opening performance for the Lupe Fiasco show at Mr. Smalls Theatre in Millvale, Pa. on October 25.

Watch the "REAL EMCEES ONLY" episodes below starting with the most recent one.
